sitting with the exhibition
The exhibition has been on for seven days now, just the weekend left for the London exhibition. I’ve been sat invigilating the whole time and it’s been a strange experience. Really positive on the whole - lots of people have given amazing feedback, and seemed to have enjoyed the show. A fair number of people [...]

A serious amount of wine was consumed [...]

why did I say ‘absolutely’ so much? I never say ‘absolutely’
I had a little chat with Sam Walker on BBC Manchester last night, you can use the iplayer feature on the BBC website to listen again - it will be up for one week. I’ll try to rip it and put an MP3 up.
The BBC also have a little feature up about the project, take a [...]

BBC Manchester
I will be talking about ‘Almost There’ on the Sam Walker show on BBC Manchester this Sunday (Jan 25th). I’ll also be playing one or two songs from the soundtrack. Tune in at 11pm to listen. You will be able to listen online, and then again for one week after the show.

dotted line
Songs for the ‘Almost There’ soundtrack are nearly all done and dusted. I’ve got 10 of the 12 finished tracks and they’re sounding great. I received a finished cut of Ric Neale’s track ‘Dotted Line’ today, which is for the painting above. He also attached an assortment of demos, live sessions and images. You can [...]

It’s promotion mania in the ‘Almost There’ camp (that’s me in my bedroom by the way). I think I’ve settled on a design for the posters, check it out:
Also, a few nice people have mentioned the project on their blogs - check out lovely words and download a free track from the soundtrack, Matt Cameron [...]
